COVID-19 Guidelines
1. All employees will be required to have a face covering when working for Riverview
a. Employees may provide their own covering, or we will have fabric and other health masks available for them on Monday
b. If there is an issue with the mask causing safety glasses to fog up, we will assess the situation and decide if there are alternative masks to wear or if we are just unable to wear masks due to a safety issue.
2. All visitors/truck drivers will be required to have a face covering when entering any of the buildings at Riverview including the office
3. All employees will be required to complete a self-health assessment prior to beginning work.
a. Employees can take their temperature prior to coming to work or if they are concerned, they have a temp we can check it at the door.
b. They will all need to sign off on whether they have symptoms, if symptoms we should send them home.
4. Disinfecting surfaces/tools
a. We should continue to disinfect surfaces and tools at the end of the day and anytime during the day when we can (breaks or when done with the tools for the day)
b. Bathrooms should be cleaned routinely with bleach
c. We may want to designate individuals to be responsible for cleaning end of day or start of day.
5. Any individual who has missed work for sickness should have their temperature checked and questioned about their symptoms. If there is still concern about them being sick, we should send them home.
a. There are no compliance issues to ask about symptoms of an employee, or if they indicate they have been in contact with someone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19.
b. Information should be kept as confidential as possible.
6. As always, encourage employees to practice social distancing and good hygiene habits.
